Railway checkpoints on the borders of the Russian Federation with the Baltic States and Finland will be suspended

The Russian government has ordered restrictions on traffic through checkpoints on the border with Finland, Estonia and Latvia. This became known on June 30 from the text of the decree published on the official portal of legal information.

"From July 1, 2026, to temporarily suspend the movement of persons, vehicles, goods and cargo through railway checkpoints across the state border of the Russian Federation in certain sections of the state border of the Russian Federation according to the list according to the annex," the order says.
