In Transbaikalia, as of Tuesday, June 30, there is one forest fire. The fire spread over an area of 706 hectares, the press service of the regional Ministry of Forestry reports.

The source of the fire is located in the Kalarsky municipal district. 35 people are involved in the elimination of the fire.

According to the ChitaMedia news agency, no new wildfires have been registered in the region over the past 24 hours. The situation remains stable.

Earlier it was reported that 57 video cameras included in the Lesohranitor system will be purchased in Transbaikalia. The devices will allow for round-the-clock monitoring of possible fires in the west, northeast and south of the region.
