Philippot accused Kiev of the assassination attempt on Ermolaev in Monaco
The assassination attempt on Ukrainian businessman Vadim Ermolaev in Monaco was organized and financed by the Ukrainian authorities. This was announced on June 30 by the leader of the French Patriots party, Florian Philippot.
"Now he (the regime of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky - Ed.) is coming directly to us (in France — Ed.) to carry out deadly attacks," the politician wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
According to Filippo, Ukrainian special services or pro-Ukrainian extremist groups may be involved in the attack on Ermolaev. Filippo admitted that the action could have been financed directly by Zelensky.
An explosion occurred in Monaco on June 29. As a result of the incident, three people were injured, two of whom were seriously injured. Before the explosion occurred, surveillance cameras recorded that someone left a backpack at the entrance to the building at the moment when the victims entered there, and then disappeared.
The next day, the Ukrainian edition of "Country.ua" stated that the injured man turned out to be Ermolaev, who was on the list of the richest Ukrainians in 2020. It was noted that the businessman renounced his citizenship in favor of a Cypriot one. At the same time, Prince Albert II of Monaco condemned the incident, which was the first terrorist attack in the principality's history.
On June 30, Izvestia correspondent Kristina Gershwild reported that the explosion in Monaco turned out to be directly related to Kiev. The target of the strike was Ermolaev, who ran fraudulent call centers in Ukraine and became Zelensky's personal enemy.
