A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. The Zapad group of forces defeated the manpower and equipment of the mechanized assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), a marine brigade and two air defense brigades in the Kharkiv region and the DPR.

In Krasny Liman, the assault detachments of the 25th Army continue to destroy the Armed Forces of Ukraine formations in the northwestern part of the settlement. Units of the 67th Motorized Rifle Division captured four enemy strongholds and occupied 54 buildings. In total, the losses of the Ukrainian army in the group's area of responsibility amounted to 210 militants.

The southern group of troops liberated the village of Malinovka in the DPR. In Konstantinovka, the group's assault units continue to clear the southwestern part of the settlement from the enemy and have liberated 30 buildings. As a result of the actions of the Russian Armed Forces, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 175 militants, two armored combat vehicles, four artillery pieces, a multiple rocket launcher combat vehicle and 27 vehicles.

"The units of the Vostok group of forces advanced into the depth of the enemy's defenses and, as a result of decisive actions, liberated the settlements of Rovnoye and Lesnoye in the Zaporizhia region. They defeated the manpower and equipment of a mechanized, assault, two amphibious assault brigades, two assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a marine brigade in areas of settlements <...> in the Dnipropetrovsk region, <...>..> of the Zaporizhia region, "— stated in the summary of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The Russian army, with the help of aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), missiles and artillery, defeated fuel and energy infrastructure facilities used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, storage and assembly sites for long-range drones, fuel and lubricants depots and military equipment, temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 142 areas.

In turn, air defense systems shot down seven guided aerial bombs and 806 aircraft-type drones. The forces of the Black Sea Fleet destroyed seven unmanned boats.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, since the beginning of the special operation, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost 673 aircraft, 284 helicopters, 171,971 UAVs, 664 anti-aircraft missile systems, 29,968 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,750 multiple rocket launchers, 35,570 field artillery and mortars, 65,265 pieces of special vehicles.
