Poland declared a cure for the idealistic perception of Ukraine

Poland and its people have recovered from the idealistic perception of Ukraine, with which, as it turned out against the background of its glorification by the UPA (UPA, recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation), little "can be built." This was stated on June 30 by Arkadiusz Mularczyk, a member of the European Parliament (EP) from the Polish Law and Justice Party (PIS).

"Polish society is healing from a certain idealism, the idea that something can be built with Ukraine on the basis of partnership. We understand that this is impossible," Politico newspaper quoted him as saying.

Now, according to the MEP, rigidity and pragmatism should prevail in relations between Warsaw and Kiev. The behavior of the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, as Mulyarchik noted, showed absolutely all political forces in Poland what kind of person he is.

"They (Polish politicians. — Ed.) they know how Ukrainians act, <...> methods and diplomacy do not work, but, I would say, this is force and arrogance," he summed up.

On June 29, Grzegorz Brown, leader of the Confederation of the Polish Crown party and member of the European Parliament, declared the Kiev regime an enemy of the Polish people and the state. He called on the authorities of his country not to help Kiev anymore, in particular, not to send him military aid.

At the same time, Krzysztof Bosak, deputy speaker of the Polish Sejm from the Confederation of nationalists and Eurosceptics, said that Warsaw, by unconditionally supporting the Ukrainian side, was harming itself first of all.

Former Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said on June 29 that Ukraine, which is trying to build its national identity by suppressing the facts about the victims of nationalists, would be responsible for Zelensky's actions and decisions. Kiev, he said, "slapped Warsaw in the face." Zelensky has already been stripped of the Order of the White Eagle and is considered an "unwelcome guest" in Poland, where anti-Ukrainian sentiments are growing.
