Six people are suspects in the murder of a student of one of Omsk universities. This was reported in the press service of the regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
"As of today, six people are suspects," TASS quoted the message as saying.
According to the agency's source, two girls are among the suspects.
The official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Irina Volk, announced on the same day that seven suspects in the murder of a student had been detained in Omsk.
Volk clarified that the student disappeared on June 21. Five days later, his body with signs of violent death was found in an abandoned area.
According to the investigation, the suspects lured the young man to a vacant lot, tied him up, stabbed him several times, and then tried to hide the body. To prepare the crime, they developed a plan in advance, purchased duct tape, bags and gloves, and also took measures to create an alibi.
