A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. The Zapad group of troops defeated the manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian armed forces in the Kharkiv region and the DPR. In the village of Krasny Liman, assault detachments of the 25th Army continue to destroy disparate formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Units of the 67th Motorized Rifle Division, advancing westward, captured four enemy strongholds and occupied 48 buildings. More than 40 Ukrainian militants were killed in the city during the day.

In addition, in Konstantinovka, the assault units of the Southern Group of Forces continue active offensive operations in all directions and the cleansing of the scattered groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the southwestern part of the settlement. During the day, up to 95 Ukrainian soldiers were killed.

"Units of the Vostok group of forces have advanced into the depth of the enemy's defenses and liberated the settlement of Bogodarovka, Dnipropetrovsk region. The manpower and equipment of a mechanized, assault, three amphibious assault brigades, an assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a marine brigade were defeated in areas of settlements <...> in the Dnipropetrovsk region, <...>..> Zaporozhye region. The enemy lost over 485 soldiers," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

The Russian army, with the help of aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), missiles and artillery, defeated fuel, energy and transport infrastructure facilities used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, storage and launch sites for long-range drones, temporary locations of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 137 districts.

In turn, air defense systems shot down 12 guided aerial bombs and 415 aircraft-type drones.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, since the beginning of the special operation, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have lost 673 aircraft, 284 helicopters, 171,165 UAVs, 664 anti-aircraft missile systems, 29,956 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,749 multiple rocket launchers, 35,557 field artillery and mortars, 65,166 pieces of special vehicles.
