The results of the Territory of Opportunities training program were summed up in the capital

More than 1,000 residents of Moscow became participants of the one-day practice-oriented program "Territory of Opportunities". From March to April, 11 intensive courses were held, their total duration was 77 hours, the Department of territorial executive authorities of the capital reported.

"The participants learned how to develop and defend projects in a team, mastered public speaking skills and the art of self-presentation. The skills acquired in the classroom will help citizens implement socially significant district initiatives," said Dmitry Presnov, head of the department.

As a result of a series of intensive courses, the participants offered over 120 useful ideas for the city in such areas as youth policy, patriotic education, culture, ecology, and sports.

For example, students, young parliamentarians and public advisers of the Western Administrative District have taken the initiative to hold a short film competition. This is how the festival "Moscow. Stories. People." The authors of another project — "The Power of the district" — were participants from the Southeastern District. They organized regular jogging trips for the locals. A team from the Northern District presented a project for a free leisure space for children and teenagers called the Center of Attraction.

About 200 experts worked with the participants during the intensive sessions: journalists, representatives of administrations and prefectures, deputies of the Moscow City Duma and the State Duma.
