The Russian Highway Cycling Championships will be held in Innopolis and Kazan from 1 to 5 July. The riders of the Marathon Tula team will compete for medals at the national start: Maria Rostovtseva, Alexandra Yurchenko and Miroslav Suyatin.

The championship program starts on July 1 in Innopolis, where medals in the individual time trial and the mixed team relay will be awarded on the first two days of the competition. Kazan will host the final group races: on July 4, women will compete at a distance of 128.7 km, and on July 5, men will compete for medals in the 198-kilometer race.

Alexandra Yurchenko noted that the preparations for the launch were productive: "The fighting spirit! The main goal is to complete the race as efficiently as possible and fight for a high result. A lot will depend on tactics and the ability to properly distribute forces." For the racer, this championship is one of the most important starts of the season, and she intends to show her maximum.

Miroslav Suyatin stressed that he expects serious competition at the distance: "The competition is expected to be the highest. The focus was on endurance, as the almost 200 km race requires a lot of it. I will try to keep my strength at the finish line and fight to the last."

In total, the championship will bring together more than 250 of the strongest athletes from all over Russia. In addition to intense wrestling, an eventful program awaits the audience and fans. On July 2, there will be a mass 5 km race along the race track for everyone, and on July 5, a unique trick is planned — jumping on a BMX bike through the passing peloton during the men's group race.
