Military medics of the 5th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 51st Guards Army of the Center group of forces provide daily assistance to wounded servicemen in the Dobropolsky area. This was announced on June 29 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The system of medical care in the military includes several stages. At the first of them, directly in the zone of combat contact, orderlies and paramedics provide first aid to military personnel under fire: tourniquets are applied, bleeding is stopped, catheters and ivs are placed directly in the line of fire. After that, the wounded are evacuated to medical centers and field hospitals, where specialists carry out further treatment.

The surgeon, Captain Kutbedinov Khadyatullo with the call sign Avicena, noted that a military medic must remain resolute and vigilant in any situation.

"If the vessels are damaged, every second counts. <...> In practice, we see it daily in our work, these are mainly shrapnel wounds: lower limbs, upper limbs, torso," he shared.

The Ministry of Defense noted that the work of evacuation groups in terms of risk is not inferior to the combat work of attack aircraft, as they work under the constant threat of strikes by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and mortar fire. Despite the difficult conditions, it is thanks to the professionalism of military doctors that it is possible to save the lives of military personnel and return many of them to service.

On June 21, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the artists of the military song and dance ensemble of the Leningrad Military District held a festive concert dedicated to the Day of the Medical worker for the military personnel of the North group of forces. It is noted that this year the artists of the ensemble organized a solemn event to express their gratitude to the military doctors.
