Against the background of the abnormal heat on the European continent, the countries of the European Union (EU) and the UK are experiencing a shortage of energy for air conditioners, as they had previously refused supplies from Russia. This was announced on June 28 by Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, on the social network X.

"In the EU and the UK, there is no energy for air conditioners, which are necessary to save people, because they have abandoned affordable and reliable Russian energy," he said.
