An earthquake has been recorded in southwest China's Sichuan Province. Its magnitude was 5.2. This was announced on June 28 by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).

The epicenter was located 311 km west of the city of Xunchang, which has a population of about 118 thousand people.
