Russians were informed about the record outflow of funds from term deposits

In May, the amount of funds withdrawn by Russians from term deposits amounted to 280.5 billion rubles, according to bank statements reviewed by Kommersant on June 28.

It is specified that this was the maximum outflow of deposits from individuals since the beginning of the year.

The reduction affected the portfolio of term deposits in the largest banks.

It was noted that during the month the total amount of funds of individuals in banks decreased by 550 billion rubles. At the same time, there was an increased demand for cash — its volume in circulation increased by about 400 billion rubles.
