A Moscow schoolgirl was the first in Russia to pass the Unified State Exam by 500 points

Ekaterina Malkova, a graduate of Moscow School No. 1409, was the first in Russia to pass the Unified State Exam with a maximum of 500 points. According to the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, the girl received the highest grade in five subjects: Russian, specialized mathematics, chemistry, physics and computer science.

"Such results were achieved for the first time in the 25-year history of the unified state exam," the mayor wrote on his channel in Maks, congratulating the graduate, her teachers and parents.

From fifth to ninth grade, Ekaterina studied in the mathematical vertical, and in high school — in the engineering pre-professional class. Over the years of her studies, she became the winner of the meta-subject competition "Intellectual Metropolis. Potential", as well as a prize-winner of the Lomonosov Olympiad in physics and the Engineers of the Future conference.

In mid-June, Rosobrnadzor reported that this year the average EXAM score had increased in several subjects at once. For example, in Russian, the indicator reached 63.06 points against 60.68 a year earlier. About 376,000 participants scored 61 points or higher. Almost 2 thousand graduates passed the exam for 100 points. An increase in the average score was also recorded on the Unified State Exam in literature, history and chemistry.
