REN TV will show a confession film about the fate of the surrendered mercenaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Who will the captured fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) become to the Russians after the end of the conflict — brothers or enemies? Why did they decide to surrender and what are they going to do after their release? An attempt to find answers to these questions was the unique documentary project of Russian journalists of REN TV "Captivity. Stay alive."

This confessional film will not leave anyone indifferent. It features candid interviews and stories from surviving Ukrainian stormtroopers, as well as exclusive footage of a real battle shot from two sides.

"Where to put the camera so that when we go there, it can cover a certain angle. Plus I'll have a helmet camera, plus a friend will have a helmet camera. I also have my phone with me, just in case the camera freezes. And so, slowly, a little bit at a time, we were collecting material, shooting," said actor, director and producer Nikolai Tsongku.
