The violation of the ceasefire is contrary to the memorandum between the United States and Iran. This was announced on June 28 by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

"The violation of the cease—fire contradicts the first provision of the memorandum of understanding signed in Islamabad and will lead to the complete cessation of all diplomatic processes," Press TV quoted a statement in its Telegram channel.
