Ukrainian Armed Forces saboteurs in Russian uniforms tried to break through the defenses in the New Donbas

Militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), trying to break through the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces in the village of Novy Donbass in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), disguised themselves in the uniform of Russian military personnel. The commander of the amphibious assault company of the 1st battalion with the call sign Lipa told Izvestia about this on June 27.

"The enemy is trying to infiltrate. He's changing into our uniform. But they can't do it, because our soldiers are on combat duty 24/7. The enemy is not making progress," Lipa said.

The militants are easily identified by their accents and movements. Lipa stressed that the enemy was destroyed, and no one counts exactly how many saboteurs there were. The main thing is not to let them break through the defense, and the Russian military fulfilled this task 100%.

Lipa reported that the Russian Armed Forces entered the New Donbass from several routes under the cover of electronic warfare (EW) to suppress enemy drones, artillery and smoke screens.

"Their birds were taken away, their footholds were cleared. The enemy did not really engage in battle, more than half ran away — they are afraid of a shooting battle. That's how they cleaned building after building," Lipa said.

In battle, the Ukrainian Armed Forces try to immediately escape or surrender. Those who decided to lay down their arms were then hunted by their own colleagues, attacking from a drone. Those who still managed to reach the positions of the Russian troops later told how they were forced to go into battle under threats of physical violence.

The liberation of the village of Novy Donbass became known on June 16. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this area amounted to more than 280 soldiers, two armored vehicles and seven cars.

On June 26, the commander of the marine corps unit in the Center group with the call sign Bars said that after the liberation of the settlement of New Donbass, Russian soldiers found tablets with military information in the strongholds and command posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. All the found devices were handed over to specialized specialists, as they were protected by passwords. According to him, after a possible hack, it will be possible to obtain information about routes, areas of concentration, the order of operations of units and other data.
