50,000 Moscow schoolchildren attended the graduation ceremony at VDNKh
The festive night for graduates of the capital began at VDNH — about 50 thousand schoolchildren and teachers gathered at the main site of the city. A rich program awaits them, which will end only in the morning: concerts, excursions, sports areas, intellectual games and dozens of other activities.
"I'm looking forward to interesting performances by artists, [I want] to have a good time with my friends, take a lot of memorable photos and get memories that will last a lifetime," graduate Helen told Izvestia correspondent Sergey Khaidarov.
On the red carpet, which every graduate walks along at the event, the students confessed that they wanted not only to relax, but also to remember this evening for the rest of their lives.
The program of the festival includes more than 60 performers, including SHAMAN, Sergey Lazarev, Lyusya Chebotina, Olga Buzova and the duo Artik & Asti.
On June 27, Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed Russian graduates on the occasion of their graduation. He noted that at the moment, most of the graduates' lives are connected with the school. According to him, for many, the educational institution has become a second home, so saying goodbye to it is a special, touching moment, the memories of which graduates will carry through the years.
