Putin congratulates Russian graduates on graduation
On June 27, Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed Russian graduates on the occasion of their graduation.
"I cordially congratulate you, your relatives, and mentors on graduation and a wonderful holiday. School graduations are always filled with a unique, very exciting atmosphere. They are charged with the energy of youth and dreams," he said.
The President noted that at the moment, most of the graduates' lives are connected with the school. School time gave students important events, emotions, and experiences for them. For many, the educational institution has become a second home, so saying goodbye to it is a special, touching moment, the memories of which graduates will carry through the years.
"Together with you, I would like to sincerely thank your teachers. Throughout your school career, they have opened up a limitless world of knowledge for you. They supported me in difficult times, helped me understand and feel my strengths and abilities. We did everything to ensure that you grew up to be good, decent people. This is a very difficult and very important mission," Putin said.
He added that it is the current graduates who will soon have to take responsibility for the country — "beautiful and beloved Russia." The younger generation should continue the history of her achievements: create, create a legacy that the next generation of citizens will receive later.
"Now you are trying to look into an unknown future. To understand who you will become in a few years, what successes you will achieve. I am sure that you will be able to carry out your plans. You will succeed. You have the winning gene. In your heart, in your soul, is the will and unity of our people. The moral strength of your ancestors, who liberated the world from Nazism, conquered the energy of the atom, and opened space to humanity," the president said.
In adulthood, graduates will have to solve complex, but at the same time inspiring tasks in technology, science, management, social sphere, culture and art. The main thing in this is to persistently and persistently go towards achieving the goal. At the same time, it is important to remember the school lessons — the lessons of friendship, kindness, justice, courage and mutual assistance, love for their native country, equality with its heroes, as well as respect for the eternal values that have always served as a pillar of Russia.
Dear friends! A wide range of possibilities is now open to you. And how you manage them depends primarily on yourself. I wish each of you a successful admission to the educational institutions that you have chosen. Perhaps you decided to acquire a profession during the courses and immediately go to work. The most important thing is to find your true calling. Never stop trying to learn new things. Develop, move forward.
He noted that this is especially important in the modern, dynamic world.
"Dream and do it. Good luck to you. And great success," the head of state concluded.
On the night of Saturday, June 27, the graduates of the capital will celebrate their main holiday, for which the Moscow government has chosen VDNH as the main venue. Over 50,000 people are expected at the location, including graduates, their parents and teachers. According to the organizers, a unique scenic facility will be prepared for the celebration on the territory of the exhibition.
Yuri Obolonsky, executive director of the National Parent Committee (NPC), said on June 23 that the cost of a school graduation in Russia, with an economical approach, would amount to 35-45 thousand rubles for parents, but the average budget today is 55-70 thousand rubles. According to the expert, if you celebrate graduation at school and without alcohol, you will get one amount. If you rent a restaurant, a ship, or a sanatorium, the amount immediately increases.
