Two new beaches will be opened near Nizhnevartovsk

Two new beaches are being prepared for opening in Nizhnevartovsk district (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug). They are located on the territory of the recreation centers "Cedar" and "Dolgoye", the municipal administration reported on Friday, June 26.

All other bathing areas are not intended. The bottom of such reservoirs has not been examined: metal structures, driftwood, pools, broken glass and other objects that can cause serious injury or death may be hidden under water.

As noted by the news agency " <url>", the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations conduct daily raids on reservoirs. Inspections confirm that many people ignore the prohibitions.

Rescuers conduct conversations, hand out memos and remind parents that it is dangerous to let a child go to an untested reservoir.

Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations explained the difference between a swimming beach and a recreation area by the water. At the same time, the ministry recalled that swimming is allowed only in places prepared for this purpose.
