The first motocross track will be created in Vladivostok

Vladivostok has begun work on the creation of the city's first motocross track. The city administration announced this on Friday, June 26.

The highway is being built on the territory of the cartodrome in the Zmeinka area. Specialists are currently planning the territory, after which they will proceed directly to the formation of elements of the future highway.

"This will be the only motocross track in Vladivostok. It will allow students of our sports school to train, as well as competitions at various levels," commented Vladimir Seleznev, Deputy director of the sports school for technical sports.

According to the PrimaMedia news agency, preparatory work on the site is almost completed. After that, the soil necessary for the formation of various jumps, jumping sections and other route elements will be brought to the site.

Last fall, it was reported that a three-story fitness center with an area of 1 thousand square meters would be built in Vladivostok in 2027. The project cost was estimated at 126.7 million rubles.
