Harvesting electrical equipment has entered new routes in Moscow
In Moscow, electric harvesting equipment has entered new routes. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of the capital for Housing and Communal Services and landscaping Peter Biryukov on Friday, June 26.
According to him, domestic electric cars have been operating in the city since 2025. Previously, they served only the central districts, including Tverskaya, Mokhovaya and Vozdvizhenka, Sadovoye Koltso, Kutuzovsky Prospekt and the territory of Victory Park on Poklonnaya Gora. Now the equipment is also cleaning Leninsky, Volgogradsky and Ryazansky Avenues, Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment, 1905 Street, the territory of the Moscow City business center and the TiNAO.
Biryukov noted that electric cars are compact, maneuverable and have all-wheel drive, so they can be used to clean streets and parks all year round. According to him, in summer they work as road vacuum cleaners, and in winter they clean territories with a front brush and distribute deicing materials. The deputy mayor called the low noise level another advantage of this technique, which makes it possible to use it effectively at night, IA Regnum reports.
