Repair of the overpass through the federal highway began on the Bogotol bypass

The repair of the overpass through the federal highway R-255 "Siberia" has started on the Bogotol bypass in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The regional Ministry of Transport announced this on Friday, June 26.

The project provides for the replacement of previously deformed beams and the repair of the rest, the installation of new ones and the restoration of intermediate supports of the structure. Specialists will also apply new expansion joints, make waterproofing and restore embankments.

Repairs of the roadway itself are planned. Asphalt will be laid on the overpass and the approaches to it, according to KrasnoyarskMedia news agency.

Major repairs are scheduled to be completed in September 2027. It is carried out within the framework of the national project "Infrastructure for Life".

The Ministry of Transport notes that the work was originally supposed to start last year, but in September 2024, an accident occurred, as a result of which the load-bearing beams were damaged. The overpass had to be closed, the project was sent for revision, and the previously concluded contract was terminated. After the adjustment, the auction to find a contractor was held anew.
