Almost 100 illegal tire shops have been closed in the Moscow region.

In the Moscow region, about 100 tire repair shops that operated illegally were closed. This was announced on Friday, June 26, according to the press service of the regional Ministry of Property Relations.

The relevant checks were carried out as part of the control of land legislation. The inspectors identified 535 cases of misuse of land plots during the raids.

As a result, 200 sites were freed from misuse violations: 97 tire installations were closed, and 103 more sites were brought into line with the type of permitted use.

According to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, Solnechnogorsk, Shchelkovo and Stupino have closed the most wheel replacement workshops - 8, 7 and 6, respectively.

The most common cases are when commercial car service stations are opened in territories designated for individual housing or subsidiary farming. Such actions are contrary to applicable laws and entail sanctions.
