In Beijing, a sports plane crashed into the China Zun CITIC Tower, which is one of the tallest buildings in the city. This was reported by the Ming Pao newspaper on June 26.

The published footage shows that debris from the damaged aircraft is flying down from the height of the building. Information about the victims during the incident is still being clarified.

According to the newspaper, some of the debris fell on the canopies of the eastern gate of the skyscraper, and then caught fire. As a result of the incident, local authorities also introduced measures to regulate traffic around the building.

The CITIC Tower, located in the Chaoyang Business District, is the headquarters of the CITIC Group of Companies. It is a 108-storey building, also known as the "Chinese Zun". Dongshi Shuangyue General Aviation, which owns the aircraft, provides air tours, training flights, license training and other services.
