Almost 30 km of Krasnokamensk – Matsievskaya road will be repaired in Transbaikalia

In the Trans–Baikal Territory, in 2026, it is planned to bring two sections of the Krasnokamensk-Matsievskaya highway with a total length of 29 km into a standard state. This is reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Transport.

In the first segment from 53rd to 59th km, the contractor is currently removing the top coating. The facility employs 20 people and special equipment.

As part of the renovation, road workers will form a reinforced base on the site and lay layers of asphalt, install road signs and metal fencing, and apply markings. It is planned to complete the work before the end of summer.

It is also planned to complete the work on the section of the highway from 59th to 82nd by autumn. The facility is already in a high state of readiness, the road workers have to lay the top layer of asphalt and perform a number of other works. The segment employs 45 people and 20 pieces of equipment.

According to the ChitaMedia news agency, the Krasnokamensk –Matsievskaya road is being put in order as part of the National Infrastructure for Life project. It connects Krasnokamensk with key social facilities in the region, and also provides access to the federal highway A-350 Chita – Zabaikalsk.
