The teenager, who organized a criminal network to involve children in terrorist activities, conducted recruitment in Russia, the United States and Europe, and his actions were coordinated by Kiev, in particular by right-wing radical Kirill Makarenko (listed as a terrorist and extremist). This was announced on June 26 by the Center for Public Relations of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of the Russian Federation.

"The detainee conducted terrorist activities in Russia, the United States and Europe with the coordination of agents of the Ukrainian special services, including Kirill Makarenko, who lives in Kiev. In online communities created by the radicals, Makarenko called for an attack in Washington using an IED (improvised explosive device. — Ed.) based on ammonium," RIA Novosti quoted them as saying.

It is specified that the potential detonation was supposed to occur on Independence Day in the United States, which is celebrated annually on July 4.

Makarenko, as explained in the FSB, oversees a network of channels in the Telegram messenger. There, he organized attacks on Russian educational institutions, and also took an active part in discussions of terrorist attacks in the United States and Europe. Among other things, the man coordinates the laying of caches of explosives and weapons in Russia. The perpetrator is currently on the wanted list.

The detention in Dagestan of a minor who, on the instructions of the Ukrainian side, created an international online community for youth recruitment, became known on the same day. Later, the teenager said that his organization was engaged in propaganda for the Columbine movement (recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation, its activities are prohibited), whose members organize attacks on schools around the world. According to him, tragedies in educational institutions should have occurred in Domodedovo, Krasnoyarsk, Orekhovo-Zuyevo, St. Petersburg, Lipetsk, Orenburg and many other cities.

He admitted that his followers managed to commit a series of arson attacks in Fort Worth, Texas, USA, and also evacuated 14 schools there. They also managed to organize one evacuation in California and several fires in Germany and Italy. Later it became known that 5,000 people participated in this organization.
