In August, some categories of pensioners will receive increased payments.

In August of this year, the monthly payments due to certain categories of pensioners will be recalculated and increased. This was announced on June 26 by Igor Balynin, an associate professor at the Financial University under the Government of Russia.

"In August 2026, an undeclared adjustment of the size of old—age insurance pensions will be carried out, thanks to which they will become higher for those pensioners who officially worked in 2025," he said in an interview with RT.
