Lipchanin was sentenced to seven years in a penal colony for beating his roommate to death.

A court in the Lipetsk region has sentenced a resident of the Dobrovsky district, who beat his roommate to death. This is reported by the regional prosecutor's office.

It was established that in November 2025, in one of the houses in the village of Dobroye, a 49-year-old previously convicted man, who was intoxicated, quarreled with his roommate. The reason was jealousy, says GOROD48.

During the conflict, the man struck the woman 10 blows to the head and 16 blows to the torso. The victim was hospitalized, but it was not possible to save her. The woman died from her injuries.

The court found a resident of the village of Dobroye guilty under Part 4 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Intentional infliction of serious harm to health, resulting in the death of a person by negligence" and sentenced him to seven years in a high-security penal colony. In favor of the daughter of a woman beaten to death, the court recovered 900 thousand rubles of moral damage.

On the page of the united press service of the judicial system of the region on the VKontakte social network, it says that the conflict was provoked by the victim herself, who was also drunk. The woman "insulted the honor and dignity of the defendant with the use of obscenities." The Lipchanin was sentenced taking into account mitigating circumstances.
