Three residents of the Tomsk region, who spied on Russian military personnel in favor of the special services of Ukraine, were accused of treason. This was announced on June 26 by the regional department of the Federal Security Service.

"The illegal activities of three local residents involved in high treason in the form of espionage in favor of representatives of the special services and organizations of Ukraine have been suppressed. <...> A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("High Treason")," TASS reports.

It is noted that the attackers, having colluded with the Ukrainian side, collected information for it about soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, including those who died during a special military operation.

A complex of investigative actions and operational search measures is currently being carried out in order to identify all participants in this illegal activity and establish all the circumstances of the incident.

On June 22, the FSB Public Relations Center reported on the detention in Voronezh of a 21-year-old young man suspected of collaborating with the Ukrainian special services. Acting for a financial reward, he also collected data for Kiev, in particular about military facilities located in the Moscow region. In addition, the young man took part in the work of Ukrainian call centers and recruited people through the Internet who were ready to become like-minded people.
