Washington should "clarify" its role in resolving the Ukrainian conflict after US Secretary of State Marco Rubio's remarks about the Anchorage understandings. This was announced on June 26 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
"Of course, we need to clarify this whole situation. But the fact remains that U.S. proposals were discussed in Alaska, which were accepted by the Russian side," he said.
