Human heads found in Moscow medical center were intended for surgeons

Five human heads were found in the freezer of the multidisciplinary morphological medical center in Moscow. This was announced on June 26 by a source of Izvestia.

According to the source, the packages with the remains were found in a room on Suzdalskaya Street during investigative actions. It is specified that the heads themselves were packed in polyethylene. They have now been withdrawn for research. At the same time, the events take place within the framework of criminal cases that have been initiated in St. Petersburg. The investigation was conducted under the article on exceeding the criminal charge.

In addition, it later became clear that the discovered heads were used as teaching aids. These biomodels were intended for the training of surgeons and cosmetologists. According to investigators, Stanislav Maslov, the head of the Anabioz company, organized a scheme for the production of educational materials from body parts for dentists, surgeons and other doctors with subsequent sale to organizations.

The remains were found during the investigation of a criminal case on bribery and abuse of authority, which was initiated in February. Andrei Kovetsky, the head of the Alexander Hospital morgue, is involved in the illegal sale of bodies. Presumably, he received about 500 thousand rubles a month from Maslov for the sale of remains.
