Sobyanin reported on five more drones shot down over the capital.

Five unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were shot down in the sky over Moscow by the air defense forces. This was announced on June 26 by Mayor Mergei Sobyanin.

"Five drones flying to Moscow were shot down," he wrote on the Maks messenger.

Sobyanin clarified that emergency services specialists are already working at the crash site of the UAV.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces used the tactics of "overloading" the Russian air defense and pursued primarily media goals, experts believe.

On the same day, the mayor of the capital informed about two more drones shot down over Moscow. Shortly before that, three more drones were destroyed by the air defense forces.
