Belarus called it unprofitable for Ukraine to involve the country in the conflict

Drawing Belarus into the conflict in Ukraine would not bring any benefit to Kiev, given the length of the proposed new front for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on June 26 by Chairman of the Standing Committee on National Security of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Gennady Lepeshko.

"We strategically understand that dragging Belarus into the conflict is primarily unprofitable for the Ukrainian side itself," he said on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum (SPIEF), RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
