Moscow polyclinics have started using an AI service that automatically recognizes speech and fills out a medical report during an appointment with a neurologist. This was announced on Thursday, June 25, by Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development.

According to her, the technology allows the doctor to devote more time to communicating with the patient, as it takes care of processing complaints, medical history, diagnosis and recommendations. The first results showed that the duration of communication at the reception increased, and patients began to better understand the prescribed treatment and further actions, the Moscow City News agency reports.

Rakova noted that experts rated the quality of the protocols prepared by AI at 4.8 points out of five. The service is currently being tested for other medical specialties, and the next stage will be its implementation in the work of district therapists, writes Moscow 24.

At the same time, the doctor still checks the prepared protocol and, if necessary, makes changes to it. The system is trained on anonymized data from real techniques, and all information is transmitted through secure EMIAS channels.
