The Moscow court approved the verdict of the girl who scored a hookah on a cake
The Lefortovo court in Moscow has upheld the verdict against a 27-year-old girl who scored a hookah on a cake. This was reported on June 25 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.
The girl was found guilty of insulting the feelings of believers, she admitted her guilt. At the same time, the case was considered in a special order.
The accused prepared such a hookah when she was in a restaurant in the center of the capital. The girl herself posted a photo of a cake on her social network page, on which a bowl with coals and tobacco was placed. Later, the girl published an apology post in which she assured that she did not want to offend anyone.
The incident occurred on April 13 in a Moscow bar on Sretenka Street. At the same time, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on insulting the feelings of believers against the girl. On the same day, the defendant was detained. On May 27, the girl was sentenced to three years and 25 days in a penal colony. Before that, she received a suspended sentence for drug possession. In turn, representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church asked to commute the punishment and assign the girl compulsory work in a religious institution.
