Fishman, the presenter of the Dozhd TV channel, became a defendant in a criminal case.

A criminal case has been opened against the host of the program on the Dozhd TV channel (recognized as a foreign agent and an undesirable organization in the Russian Federation) Mikhail Fishman (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation). This was announced on June 25 by a source of Izvestia.

Earlier, an administrative offense case was opened against Fishman for participating in the activities of an undesirable organization, namely the Dozhd TV channel. However, the journalist continued his activities.

It is specified that in addition to hosting the program, he organizes and conducts events promoting the TV channel. In 2022, the Russian Ministry of Justice added Fishman to the register of foreign agents.

On May 15, the Savelovsky District Court of Moscow sentenced Vladimir Solovyov, a former journalist of the Kommersant newspaper, to three years in prison for collaborating with the Carnegie Endowment (recognized as a foreign agent and an undesirable organization in the Russian Federation). The court found that Solovyov regularly published articles about Transnistria under his own authorship on the Carnegie Politika platform.
