The restoration of a section of Molodezhny Prospekt, which was closed more than 10 years ago, has begun in Krasnoyarsk. This was announced by the mayor of the city Sergey Vereshchagin on Thursday, June 25.

We are talking about a 130-meter-long stretch of road, where the walls of the ravine have slipped. Previously, it provided direct access to the avenue of the 60th anniversary of the Formation of the USSR and the interchange of the Yenisei Highway.

"Now we are filling out the slope of the ravine. We have agreed that we will soon restore the retaining blocks along the passage, bring it to a safe appearance and open it in a transitional covering for now," the mayor said.

According to him, financing for full-fledged repairs will be provided for 2027.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, the opening of the site will reduce the traffic load on the streets of the old part of Solnechny. They decided to return the fare after requests from residents of the neighborhood.

Earlier it was reported that in Krasnoyarsk, from June 17 to June 30, traffic on Tambov Street will be banned. Travel along the road section will be impossible due to scheduled repairs to the heating system.
