The defendants in the child trafficking case, mothers with many children Yulia Loginova and Natalia Patoka, were given a preventive measure. Patoka was sentenced to 4 years of probation, Loginov to 4.5. This was announced on June 25 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the hall of the Perovsky District Court of Moscow.
Loginova was detained in October 2023. Then, in the blood of one of the children she was raising, a drug was found that was prohibited for his illness. It also turned out that 15 minors were in the care of the woman, but due to an operation in 2010, the woman could not give birth. At the same time, Loginova assured that some of the children born after this operation were also her relatives.
After conducting a genetic examination and checking the registration of minors, a criminal case was opened on child trafficking using forged documents and intentional harm to health.
In the same month, Natalia Patoka, Loginova's accomplice, was detained. The woman created a shelter for mothers in difficult circumstances, and registered the children in her own name.
The investigation of the criminal case was completed on July 1, 2025. Then it was reported that the total number of defendants exceeded 20 people, 15 minors were recognized as victims. The cases against 11 defendants, including Loginova, Moloka, surrogate mothers and other women, were separated into separate proceedings.
