Dangerous nectarines and cabbage from China have been identified in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, dangerous quarantine pests have been identified in nectarines, apricots and Peking cabbage imported from China. The total weight of the products was 10 tons, the press service of the regional Rosselkhoznadzor administration reported on Thursday, June 25.

The agency's inspectors had inspected the cargo two days earlier at the Agroterminal-Customs temporary storage warehouse. During the control, samples were taken and sent to the laboratory for research.

According to the results of the inspection, it turned out that Peking cabbage is infected with western flower thrips, and nectarines and apricots with eastern fruitworm. The presence of pests was confirmed by an examination.

The product owner was notified of the need to take action, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency. At the choice of the owner, all infected vegetables and fruits were treated with drugs that are safe for human health.
