The fourth river route has been integrated into Moscow's navigation system.
By the time of the opening of the fourth regular Kievsky — Luzhniki river route, experts had created 68 navigation layouts for both berths and the nearest metro stations. This was reported by the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development of the city of Moscow.
Navigation flags appeared in front of the entrance to the berths, made in the corporate color of regular river electric transport. They contain the names of the final stops of electric vessels. There are also digital steles at the entrance, where the schedule is updated online.
"According to the task of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, we continue to integrate the electric court into the city's transport system. Signs made according to Moscow Transport navigation standards have already been placed on all 24 berths," said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry. He said that the mention of the new fourth river route appeared on the navigation elements of two metro stations with exits to the berths of river electric transport.
For innovative berths, experts have developed signs listing the nearest points of attraction. They also appeared on the updated map: there are eight popular sites in total. Among them are the metro and MCC stations, the Vorobyovy Gory Nature Reserve, the Luzhniki Olympic Complex, as well as a transfer to the first route of river electric vessels. In addition, the numbering of the mooring sites from which the eco-friendly river electric vessel is boarded has been placed on the digital display boards.
At the Kievskaya and Vorobyovy Gory metro stations, the location of berths is marked on terrain and navigation maps for passengers with limited mobility, as well as on signs with exit numbers. Soon, passengers on all trains on the Koltsevaya Line will find out the nearest exit to the Kievsky pier using improved door navigation even before the train arrives at the Kievskaya station, which is closest to the berths of the first and fourth electric vessel routes.
