Temporary power supply restrictions have been introduced in Sevastopol

A temporary power supply restriction regime has been introduced in Sevastopol. This was announced on June 24 by the governor of the city Mikhail Razvozhaev.

"I am informing you about the current situation with electricity supply in the city. At the command of the dispatcher <...>, a temporary power supply restriction regime has been introduced in Sevastopol," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to Razvozhayev, the measure is necessary to eliminate the overload of electrical networks outside the region in order to prevent an accident in the power system. It is clarified that there is no exact hourly schedule of outages yet. The governor also urged residents to reduce the load on the power grid as much as possible and temporarily abandon the use of powerful electrical appliances.

On June 24, the press service of Krymenergo reported that power outages due to grid disruptions occurred in several cities and districts of the Republic of Crimea. Electricity was lost in Yevpatoria, Saki, Yalta, Alushta, Simferopol and Dzhankoy. Later, Razvozhaev noted that electricity had been restored to several settlements and districts of Sevastopol.
