The Venezuelan government maintained a state of emergency amid the devastating earthquake in the country. This was reported on June 25 by the Reuters news agency with reference to the appeal of the authorized representative of the President of the Republic Delcy Rodriguez.

"The government of Venezuela is imposing a state of emergency after the earthquake," the publication says.
