Russia has introduced a new GOST for protective hockey equipment

A new GOST for protective hockey equipment was introduced in the Russian Federation. This follows from the order on the Rosstandart website dated May 19.

"This standard establishes general requirements for protective equipment for the head, face, eyes, neck and body used when playing ice hockey. <...> This standard should be used in conjunction with standards that establish requirements for certain indicators of protective equipment used in ice hockey," the text of the document says.
