Ukraine's potential accession to the European Union (EU) may increase the popularity of the Polish Polexit movement about the country's withdrawal from the community. This was announced on June 24 by the Prime Minister of Poland in 2001-2004 Leszek Miller.

"Ukraine's accession to the EU? This will strengthen the trend towards Polexit. Especially if the Poles come to the conclusion that they are losing funding, competitive advantages and cannot effectively defend their interests, and decisions are made for them," he said on Radio Zet radio station.
