Trump did not rule out new military supplies to Turkey before the NATO summit in Ankara

Before his visit to the upcoming NATO summit in Ankara, US President Donald Trump may make a positive decision on military supplies to Turkey, including possibly F-35 fighter jets. The politician announced this on June 24 at a meeting with the Secretary General of the alliance Mark Rutte at the White House.

"I think so," the politician said in response to the relevant question.

As Trump noted, this decision may be a gesture to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

"I'll probably do something that will make him very happy," Trump said.
