- Medvedev announced the filing of a complaint to the UN court over the infringement of Russians in the Baltic States.
Russia is soon going to file a complaint with the International Court of Justice against the Baltic states for gross violations of the rights of Russian-speaking people who live in these countries. This was announced on June 24 by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council.
"Pre-trial claims have already been filed against the Baltic countries in connection with their discrimination and gross violation of the rights of Russian-speaking citizens. At the end of May this year, the pre-trial stage was completed. Accordingly, complaints will be filed with the International Court of Justice soon," the politician said at the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum (SPIEF-2026).
