The body of a murdered man was found near a prehistoric circle of stones in the north of Great Britain after an event dedicated to the summer solstice on June 24, according to a statement on the Derbyshire County Police website.

"On Monday in the stone circle Nine Ladies (Nine ladies. A man's body was found in Stanton Lees," the statement said.

The local police clarified that a festival in honor of the summer solstice was held in the stone circle on Sunday. It is noted that such events, which are often attended by followers of neo-paganism, are held in Neolithic stone circles.

As the police later clarified, the deceased Isaac Claire-Watson from Nottingham was 26 years old. A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder. Detective Tony Owen said the young man was killed in "the most brutal way possible."

On June 18, British police detained a man on suspicion of attempted murder after a three-year-old boy was found in a crocodile enclosure. It is noted that the boy was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, his condition is assessed as critical but stable.
