Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov spoke at the Primakov Readings international scientific and expert forum, where he pointed out the possibility of resolving the Ukrainian conflict through diplomatic means. The diplomat also said that Western statements about the unacceptability of private contacts with Russia are hypocritical, since representatives of the head of the European Council, Antonio Costa, and the envoys of France and Great Britain came to Moscow to try to negotiate. At the same time, the minister ruled out taking the word for it in matters of conflict resolution.

A Mi helicopter crashed in the Krasnodar Territory-2. According to the Izvestia source, the incident occurred near the Prikubansky farm in the Slavyansky district. The Southern Transport Prosecutor's Office said that an inspection had been organized into the crash of a helicopter carrying out aviation and chemical work.
