Two Krasnoyarsk citizens convicted of selling counterfeit toilet paper

In Krasnoyarsk, a verdict was passed against two brothers who were involved in the sale of counterfeit toilet paper. The violators produced 26.5 thousand rolls.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, in 2023, the men organized production in their own workshop. They used brand labels from Naberezhnye Chelny without permission. The violators were going to sell the paper at the market, where they were detained during a "test purchase."

The damage to the copyright holder was estimated at more than 500 thousand rubles. The defendants were sentenced to probation. Counterfeit products must be destroyed.

In St. Petersburg, customs officers detained an illegal batch of cigarettes in a large port. The cost of the illegal products amounted to 207 million rubles. A criminal case has been opened on this fact.
